Employment Lawyer - London
A confident and highly successful Employment Lawyer is required by our client to head up a rapidly expanding department with strong emphasis on defendant work to include TUPE, Trade Unions and industrial relation matters, redundancies, unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, grievances, discrimination, compromise agreements. Great deal of Tribunal experience required together with experience of Employment Tribunal Case Management.

Our client is a very highly regarded modern and forward thinking 20 Partner law firm based in London. The firm has all the usual accreditations you would expect from a firm of excellence which values its employees including full panel memberships, Lexcel Accredition and Investor in People awards.
Our client's premises are plush and extremely comfortable and there is free parking available on site for all senior employees.
The Opportunity
This is a hugely exciting opportunity for a mid level Solicitor looking for a new long term position in which to challenge themselves further. Ample opportunity for business development and departmental expansion if of interest to a candidate.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will have a solid background within a city or highly regarded regional firm and have undertaken a broad range of contentious and non-contentious work, preferably having advised previously in both the public and private sectors.
Ideally the successful candidate will have past experience in claimant work in employment lititgation which they have then translated into defendant work.
General strong knowledge required of all peripheral employment matters including employment contracts, staff handbooks and general practical HR advice.
