Trusts/Taxation Lawyer
Our client is seeking to appoint a Trust/Taxation Specialist with the highest level of technical knowledge to assist with work on a full range of tax and trust matters for our client's existing niche corporate clients, both nationally and internationally. There will also be a level of trust administration and personal tax work for private clients including non-uk domicile individuals.

Our client is a most highly respected firm of some significant standing and a recognised leader in this specialist field. The department within which the successful applicant will be employed currently consists of some 35 specialists and prides itself on its global expertise which culture you will be expected to contribute to.

This is an extremely exciting opportunity for a mid to senior level solicitor to enjoy a highly coveted position and become part of a superb team who believe that they are the best at what they do within a firm who recognise that in order to be the best they need to employ the best.

It is therefore an opportunity for the successful candidate to continue to indulge his or her genuine passion for this chosen area of law but without the worry of the long hours culture which is prevalent is so many like-size firms.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have the highest technical knowledge but with an attendant ability in explaining matters clearly and concisely to their client. An indepth knowledge of taxation of trusts for income tax, CGT and IHT is essential together with a proven track record in Lasting and EPAs, Deeds of Variation and tax planning work in relation to high net worth individuals.
STEP qualification will be a distinct advantage and ideally Chartered Institute of Taxation qualified.
A significant following would also be advantageous.
